Decorate your bike for the holiday season and join others for a bright, colourful, wintry ride. If you plan to keep riding right on through the winter, this is a chance to make a statement of it in style, or to get a fun taste of cold weather cycling if you’ve never done it before.
We had a great turn-out and a great line-up of speakers before covering some official business and running elections for the Bike Ottawa Board of Directors: read on for some highlights.
As usual, the week after the clocks fall back, we’ll be partnering with Safer Roads Ottawa to encourage cyclists to light themselves up while biking outside the diminishing daylight hours. The Highway Traffic Act requires that all cyclists have a working front light and rear reflector.
It’s the time of year for our Annual General Meeting and autumn bike social! Join us to mix and mingle with fellow Ottawa cyclists over food and drink, hear from some great speakers, and—for Bike Ottawa members—participate in the official business of our AGM.
