It’s the time of year for our Annual General Meeting and autumn bike social! Join us to mix and mingle with fellow Ottawa cyclists over food and drink, hear from some great speakers, and—for Bike Ottawa members—participate in the official business of our AGM.
When: Monday, October 2nd; doors open at 5:30pm and speakers begin at 6pm
Where: Tom Brown Arena, 141 Bayview Road

What’s on the agenda?
Doors will open at 5:30pm. Complementary food and non-alcoholic drinks will be available. This year we’ll also be selling beer and cider ($5 each). Use the opportunity to meet and chat with fellow cyclists over food and drink, and check out some booths featuring Bike Ottawa and partner organizations.

Who can attend?
Anyone–that means you–can join us for the social and speakers. It’s free, but please register so that we can plan for seating and catering. You don’t need to print your tickets.
Bike Ottawa members can participate in the official business portion of the AGM beginning at 8:30pm. Note that you must have been a member for a full calendar month in order to vote.
How can I join Bike Ottawa or renew my membership?
If you’re not a member yet, or if you need to renew, now is a great time to do so: we strongly encourage you to join or renew online to avoid line-ups during the event. New members who join and existing members who recruit others before September 30th will also have a chance to win some awesome prizes as a part of our membership drive.
