Let’s celebrate the arrival of spring on Saturday, March 21st! The 4th annual Spring.Bike.Ottawa event will have a somewhat new format, and a theme of “Mapping Change”. We’ll start with a dynamic three-speaker panel covering the latest in cycling laws, along with local and provincial advocacy updates.
50 people at winter bike parade
The 4th Annual Winter Cycling Parade in Ottawa was a great success. Around 50 people came out, on regular bikes, cargo bikes, on fat bikes and Xtracycles.

It’s that time of year again. The clocks are turned back and now it is dark before 5pm. By the Ontario Highway Traffic Act, all cyclists must have a front light and rear reflector.
