This year, money for cycling infrastructure was not in the transportation budget, but has been pushed into a pot of money for “Strategic Initiatives” under the broad category of “neighbourhood road safety, including pedestrian and cycling mobility”.
Rehabilitation of mid-town Queensway bridges: Cycling perspective on recommendations
The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario (MTO) plans to replace eleven Queensway bridges crossing over mid-town Ottawa roads from Holland Avenue to O’Connor and has presented recommended preliminary designs for community feedback.
