Ottawa’s annual Canadian Tulip Festival is one of our favourite times of year to get out on our bikes and enjoy the city (although to be fair we have a lot of favourite times of year to do that!). This week, a Queens Park committee discussed Bill 65, known as the Safer School Zones Act. If passed, the Bill would grant municipalities discretion to use photo radar and other automated speed enforcement tools in school zones and designated community safety zones.
