Pedal and Play – Family bike rides in Orleans
This spring and summer in Convent Glen North (in Orleans), check out the weekly drop-in family bike event dubbed Pedal and Play. Modelled off the idea of a bike bus to school, this event instead mimics a city bus to move families through the community on wheels. Each week, you’re invited to get on your bike, meet your neighbours, and have fun!
Transportation Master Plan – Have your say
Parts of Ottawa’s Transportation Master Plan haven’t been updated since 2013. Current work includes the development of the TMP Capital Infrastructure Plan. The TMP Capital Infrastructure Plan will identify transit and road projects that are needed to accommodate future travel demand and that should be included within the City’s ultimate transportation networks.
Airport Parkway MUP: One step forward, two steps back
On March 27, Bike Ottawa board member Florence Lehmann presented a delegation to the Public Works and Infrastructure Committee to oppose recoupling the Airport Parkway west side MUP to the proposed road widening.
