Ottawa’s VeloVogue, known mostly for the great photography of everyday cyclists in everyday clothes, is organising the third annual Ottawa VeloVogue Plaid Parade. It has become something of a not to be missed thing, and even if you are not cycling it is fun to see so many people gathering in plaid.

The Ministry of Transportation of Ontario has been working hard on collecting ideas from stakeholders in the wonderful of cycling (including yours truly Ctizens for Safe Cycling) on how to improve cycling in Ontario. From long meetings came long lists and from long lists came an action plan.

Have you noticed that the bike infrastructure is gradually getting better in Ottawa-Gatineau? Every year the city makes improvements based on the Ottawa Cycling Plan which was written in 2013. Many designs are being rolled out currently and we need your to help keep an eye on all the designs.
