Ottawa City Council is expected to pass its 2021 Budget on Wednesday, December 9th. The city will spend approximately $8.9 million (M) on dedicated bike infrastructure – down significantly from the 2015-2018 years when the city was budgeting $20M in “Cycling and Pedestrian Plans.”
At the AGM we welcomed some new faces to the Bike Ottawa Board of Directors, and had a bit of a shuffle for some of our previous members.
In July 2020, the City of Ottawa placed traffic calming measures along Sherwood Drive and is now seeking your feedback about what permanent traffic calming measures should be made on this street. One proposed idea is: bike lanes!
