The City suddenly cancelled the bike lanes on O’Connor in the Glebe stretch because of some parking complaints. We believe that this is unreasonable as several earlier plans call for a safe bike infrastructure in the Glebe as part of the Ottawa Bicycle Plan and a connected safe network.

Recap: Mapping Change at Spring.Bike.Ottawa 2015
This year, Spring.Bike.Ottawa brought out just short of 90 community members on a damp, snowy first day of spring, including city Councillors Catherine McKenney, Jeff Leiper, and David Chernushenko; MPP Yasir Naqvi and MP Paul Dewar. Some of our counterparts from Cycle Toronto also made the trip to learn about CfSC’s work.
2015 Report on Bicycling released
Today, Citizens for Safe Cycling released our 4th annual Report on Bicycling. The report gives an overview of the state of cycling in the Nation’s capital.
