The Ottawa Centre EcoDistrict’s Cycle In Campaign hits the streets this September. The campaign is working to improve cycling infrastructure to and through the downtown core.
Cycling access top priority for OCED
Cycling was ranked as the top priority of citizens through the OCED’s community engagement efforts when asked about improving Ottawa. Volunteers are needed on September 14th to ride into downtown from designated starting points across the city. The coordinated rides will highlight good and safe infrastructure as well as recognize areas of improvement.
The following week, a collaborative session will be held at City Hall where volunteers will design the desired pathways and future improvements to the existing paths. Find out more about Cycle In or volunteer for the event here.
