On November 8th, we teamed up with Safer Roads Ottawa to hand out approximately 650 pairs of lights to cyclists who weren’t equipped for biking in the dark after the clocks turned back.
It’s getting darker out there: Lights on Bikes is back
Just after the clocks turn back, we’ll be partnering with Safer Roads Ottawa again this year to raise awareness and encourage cyclists to light themselves up while cycling in the early evening and at night.
Recap: AGM 2016, on the theme of data
What a fantastic turnout at our 2016 AGM! Not only did we have the largest ever number of members and guests in attendance (nearly 150), but we also had more members of city council join us than ever before, along with Mayor Jim Watson.
It’s that time of year again: Our AGM is on September 26th!
Our AGM is an opportunity to mix and mingle with fellow cyclists, learn about hot topics related to safer cycling and infrastructure, and find out what Citizens for Safe Cycling (CfsC) has been up to over the past year as well as upcoming plans.
