Join us for an easy ride around the Craig Henry/Centrepointe community and a chance to explore the neighbourhood’s bikeable routes and destinations.
When: Sunday, September 11th from 3pm to 4pm, with free safety checks and tune-ups beginning at 2:30pm. (In case of bad weather, please check our Twitter/Facebook pages for updates.)
Where: Starting from Centrepointe Library, 101 Centrepointe Dr. Meet at the bike repair stand between the library and the multi-use pathway.
Expect about 30 minutes of easy pedaling with lots of opportunities to stop and chat with others about how you can get to popular community destinations and local businesses by bike, and tips on choosing safe routes and making practical trips within the neighbourhood. Councillor Keith Egli, Chair of the Transportation Committee, may be joining us.
This will also be a great opportunity to meet others who bike in the neighbourhood, and to meet some Citizens for Safe Cycling volunteers and Board members.
We hope to see you there!
