About XO VELO:
Ottawa Velo Vogue came to life in February 2011 when the two founders at the time were bouncing on a trampoline together. They noticed a surge in stylish cyclists in the Ottawa area and thought it would be a good idea to profile them on a blog.
A few months later Zara Ansar started photographing the lovely and stylish people of Ottawa on bikes. The cyclists are real and are recommended by friends or found on the streets of Ottawa. Zara has mostly rebranded Ottawa Velo Vogue to XO VELO.
About Right Bike:
RightBike is a community-owned and neighborhood-based bike share service that operates in Westboro, Wellington West, and the Glebe. They maintain a fleet of purple bikes for residents, visitors, and shoppers in the neighborhood to use for short trips and touring our beautiful city. RightBike is a social enterprise operating under the umbrella of Causeway Work Centre and both provide jobs and growth opportunities for people in need.
