Advocacy has many facets. It starts with riding your bike, normalizing cycling as a mode of transportation. It can be organizing bike rides to bring awareness and ask for better. It’s about giving feedback to the city on infrastructure projects. And it can also be about celebrating all things cycling and acknowledging those who advocate on behalf of all of us.
Next Tuesday is Bike Day on the Hill, an opportunity to mingle and remind our federal representatives that they play an essential role in funding great cycling infrastructure (ask our Orleans residents).
