It’s time to ring in spring with our annual Spring.Bike.Ottawa symposium and social! At this year’s celebration, we’ll be talking advocacy and how we can work together to affect change that will make Ottawa a better cycling city.
Join us for some updates and analysis on cycling in our city, a lively discussion with a panel of experts on effective bike advocacy, and of course, a chance to socialize with fellow cyclists!
The event is free and you don’t need to bring your tickets, but please register if you plan to attend so we know how many people to expect.
What’s on the agenda?
Doors open at 12:30 and the official program will begin at 1:00pm. The agenda will include:
- An update on Bike Ottawa’s data project, mapping and analyzing levels of traffic stress in key areas throughout the city
- Announcements on bike-related happenings from a number of our partners
- A chance to socialize with fellow cyclists, representatives of our partner organizations, and fellow cyclists over complementary snacks and bevrages
- A panel discussion on the theme “Be Your Own Best Bike Advocate”, featuring experts from the City of Ottawa, the National Capital Commission, a planning firm, Canada Bikes, and our own Adocacy Working Group
